Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information web3compliance.ai (the "Site") collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. The Site is operated by Savy Advisors LLC ("we", "us"). Questions about this policy go to contact@web3compliance.ai.

You can read the Site without creating an account. We do not sell your personal information.

Information you give us

• Jurisdiction alerts. When you subscribe, we receive your email address and the jurisdictions you picked. They are delivered to an internal team channel so we can follow up; there is no automated mailing list.
• Corrections. When you report a correction, we receive the fact you flagged, your correction, an optional source URL and an optional email address.
• Questions to the research assistant. Questions typed into the Ask feature are processed to generate an answer from our research data. Answers may be cached so the same question is answered faster next time.
• Email. If you write to us, we keep the message and your address to reply.

Analytics: Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the Site is used: which pages are viewed, roughly how long a visit lasts, the type of device and browser, the approximate location derived from your IP address, and how you arrived at the Site. Google Analytics sets cookies (for example _ga) and similar identifiers to do this. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can block Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Advertising: Google AdSense

The Site shows ads served by Google AdSense. Ads appear only on content pages; they are not loaded on this Privacy Policy, the Terms of Service, Contact, About, Disclaimer or other short utility pages.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this Site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info. If you opt out, you may still see ads, but they will not be personalized.

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, Google serves personalized ads only where consent has been obtained through a consent message; otherwise it serves non-personalized or limited ads. Read more in how Google uses cookies in advertising.

Cookies

The Site itself does not set cookies to identify you. The cookies you may see come from the third parties described on this page: Google Analytics (measurement) and Google AdSense and its advertising partners (ad delivery, frequency capping, fraud prevention and, where permitted, personalization, for example __gads and __gpi). Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary cookie when it checks for automated traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the Site still works without them.

Affiliate links

Some pages may include affiliate links to third-party products or services. If you buy or sign up through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links are labeled as affiliate links, separately from Google ads (which Google labels as ads), and they never change how a jurisdiction, regulation or provider is described in our research.

Service providers

• Cloudflare hosts the Site and provides CDN, DNS, security and bot protection (Turnstile). Cloudflare processes IP addresses and request data to deliver and protect the Site. Short-lived counters keyed by IP address enforce rate limits on the Ask and corrections features and expire within the hour.
• Google provides Analytics, AdSense and the web fonts the Site loads from Google's servers.
• Sentry receives error reports from your browser when a page fails, which can include the page address, browser details and a recording of the page and interactions leading up to the error. It is used only to fix bugs.
• Discord is where alert sign-ups and correction reports are delivered to our team.

Retention

Sign-ups, corrections and email are kept as long as needed to act on them and then deleted on request. Google Analytics and AdSense data is retained under Google's own retention settings and policies. Error reports are kept for the provider's standard retention period.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or California privacy law), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to its use. Email contact@web3compliance.ai and we will respond within 30 days. The Site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
